Bar Code Labels

There are a wide variety of bar code labels that are purposed to the type of asset being tagged. Common materials include paper, laminated paper and metal tags. Tags can be affixed with the tag’s native adhesive or can be grommeted or otherwise securely affixed to assets. Tags can also be delivered in heavy-duty enclosures for special purpose applications. Tags are available in many sizes and shapes.

SmartTraxx supports 1D and 2D bar coding. 1D bar codes must be widths necessary to accommodate the # of characters in an asset identification # and any text that is printed onto the label. 2D bar codes can be extremely small, about the size of a fingernail.

Each SmartTraxx database record corresponds to an asset’s bar code. Asset bar code labels enable automated:

Bar code labels can be provided pre-printed with asset information and asset bar code. Unprinted roll or sheet labels can be provided for printing asset labels utilizing standard office sheet printers or specialty thermal printers using labels on rolls.
